Making a Difference for Norton Cancer Institute

When you hear the diagnosis, "cancer," it sets into motion a stream of events that affects the entire family. What is the treatment? How long will it  last? Will it be successful? What is going to happen?

Thanks to the Norton Healthcare Foundation, you can be confident that the caregivers with Norton Cancer Institute have specialized training to take care of you and your family. Norton Cancer Institute has the highest percentage of nurses in the region who have obtained oncology certified nurse (OCN) status - advanced training for nurses who work with patients diagnosed with cancer. This training is funded through the Norton Healthcare Foundation.  (pictured, Joanna Couch, RN, OCN)

The Norton Healthcare Foundation also supports programs and equipment that help patients and their loved ones through the process of diagnosis, treatment and education.
