- Aqua therapy
- Biofeedback and electrotherapies
These treatments, separately or in combination, may be used to treat a variety of symptoms and injuries, including:
And much more, including stroke rehabilitation.
From medications and therapy to appropriate surgical referrals, patients have access to a comprehensive treatment program within the Norton Healthcare system. When surgery is necessary, physiatrists work with patients and their surgeons before and after the surgical procedure. Physiatrists help patients during recovery by working with specialists such as neurologists, spine and orthopaedic surgeons, and other health care professionals, like physical and occupational therapists, speech pathologists and psychologists.
