Like Get Healthy magazine, the information in each issue is brought to you by Norton Healthcare doctors, nurses and other health professionals who want to help you stay healthy through the years. Articles can be read quickly, are easy to understand and are geared toward health issues that are common as we age. The magazine also includes a pull-out calendar to keep you up-to-date about upcoming health-related classes, support groups, free or low-cost health screenings and special events.

All class are held at Norton Audubon Hospital, Community Room (L2). Classes are free and refreshments are provided. Attendees will receive special gifts at each class.
How to Stay Healthy Through the Years
Wednesday, Sept. 25 • 5 to 6 p.m.
Bonnie A. Lazor, M.D., geriatrician, will discuss ways to prevent illness and stay well as you age. Free screenings for blood pressure, blood sugar, bone density and balance will be conducted by Norton Healthcare nurses.
Breathing Easy As You Age
Wednesday, Oct. 30 • 5 to 6 p.m.
John McConnell, M.D., pulmonologist, will discuss ways to keep your lungs healthy, including the effects of sleep apnea and other pulmonary issues.
Senior Safety: Steering Clear of Crimes and Scams Around the Holidays
Wednesday, Nov. 20 • 5 to 6 p.m.
A representative from the Louisville Metro Police Crimes Against Seniors Division will present tips for keeping safe around the holidays.
