Thrombectomy for Dialysis Treatment

If you are on dialysis, you may need a procedure called a thrombectomy or access revision. This is needed when your dialysis access graft or fistula stops working, usually because it has clotted. The blood flowing through the access forms a soft clot, which is removed during a thrombectomy.

Learn more about this procedure at the Norton Vascular Access Center .
