Health & Wellness Symposium

Norton Healthcare presents the fifth annual Integrative Health & Wellness Symposium for physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and other clinical personnel and caregivers. The symposium will be held Thursday, May 10, 7:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Sawyer Hayes Community Center at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park.

The program focuses on caring for the whole person, including ways to incorporate holistic and wellness strategies into patient care and self-care.

This year’s keynote speaker is Andrea Beaman, a natural foods chef, holistic health coach and herbalist dedicated to alternative healing methods, and sustainable eating and living. Beaman was a featured contestant on the TV show Top Chef and hosted Fed Up, a cooking show about alleviating health issues with food. To learn more about her, visit AndreaBeaman.com.

Continuing education credits will be offered. Registration fees are $50 for Norton Healthcare employees, $60 for nonemployees and $25 for students (limited student slots available). Early registration is encouraged, as space is limited.
