LOUISVILLE, KY.(April 15, 2008): Hank Robinson has been named chairman of the Norton Healthcare Board of Trustees, replacing R.K.  Guillaume, who had served as chairman since March 2006. Guillaume will remain on the board. Chairmen are elected to one-year terms. Joseph A. Paradis III has been named the board’s new vice chairman.

Robinson, 49, has been a Norton Healthcare board member since February 2001 and has served as board vice chairman since February 2005, and as chairman of the board Committee on Finance & Core Operations since 2001.

“I am honored to be involved with such a talented and dedicated group of volunteer community board members and a superb senior management team,” Robinson said. “Norton Healthcare has made tremendous progress over the past several years, and we look forward to continuing that momentum as we implement our new strategic plan to expand facilities and services in Metro Louisville and throughout the region.

“We will continue to enhance our industry-leading commitment to measuring and openly reporting on the quality and safety of our patient care as we remain focused on our not-for-profit health care mission.”
