Dr. Azadi most recently served as assistant professor of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery with the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Women’s Health. He completed his residency in OB/GYN at the University of Tennessee in Memphis and a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is board certified in OB/GYN. He provides expanded urogynecology services to patients, including a variety of minimally invasive treatments for urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Along with laparoscopic, robotic and transvaginal approach procedures, Dr. Azadi also provides:
- Treatment of urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse using natural tissue repair instead of synthetic mesh. Patients are individually evaluated and counseled regarding their best treatment options.
- Novel treatments such as sacral neuromodulation for the treatment of bladder and bowel disorders such as urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary retention and fecal incontinence. Patients first undergo an office test to ensure they will benefit from this minimally invasive outpatient procedure.
- In-office bladder Botox injections for the treatment of refractory overactive bladder
- Urodynamic testing performed in-office, with results given to patients and referring providers within 72 hours
