Norton Healthcare is committed to providing a competitive package of employee benefits as part of your total compensation package. These benefits are designed to assist you and your family in meeting the financial burdens that can result from illness, injury or death as well as help you plan for retirement and enhance your personal financial security.
All employees who are statused to work at least 32 hours (.4 FTE) per pay period are eligible for Norton Helathcare's standard benefits suite, which includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability plans, voluntary benefits and perks.
Employees who are statused to work less than 32 hours (.4 FTE) per pay period and registry employees are eligible for Norton healthcare's medical plan options and serveral "employee perks," including Norton Concierge Services, Employer-Assisted Housing Program and the 529 College Savings Plan.
All employees are eligible to participate in Norton Healthcare's traditional and Roth 403(b) or 401(k) retirement savings plans.
We have two medical plan options; each plan has three levels of benefits: Norton Healthy Living Plan and High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with an optional HSA. Both of these medical plans include prescription drug coverage, mental health and substance abuse treatment coverage and disease management plans.
Norton offers two dental plans to choose from: Guardian Dental PPO and Guardian Dental Traditional. Most preventative care is covered fully. Top

Sometimes an illness or injury causes you to miss more work than you’d like. Norton’s long-term and short-term disability plans are designed to provide peace of mind and financial security until you get back on your feet.
Short-Term Disability - Two coverage levels are available: 65% and 75% of pay.
Long-Term Disability - Employees receive automatic basic coverage equal to 50% of base pay at no cost, with an option to purchase 10% coverage for a total of 60% base pay.
Life Insurance and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Taking care of your loved ones in the event of a tragedy is one of the most selfless things you can do. Norton Healthcare provides you with two types of coverage to help ensure your family’s financial security in case something happens to you.
Employee Life: Eligible employees automatically receive life insurance and AD&D coverage equal to their annual base salary as of their enrollment date and with each salary change at no cost, with a minimum of $10,000. Employees have the option to purchase supplemental life insurance up to four times their annual base salary. When this insurance is purchased, free will preparation services are available.
Spouse and Dependent Life: Norton Healthcare provides 10 options ranging from $5,000 to $50,000. You may also choose between three life insurance options for your child(ren), $2,500, $5,000 or $10,000.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
The FSA allows you to use pre-tax dollars to pay eligible health care and dependent care expenses that aren't covered elsewhere. There are two options available: Healthcare and Dependent Care. Deposits are made on a pre-tax basis, with allowable maximum amounts of $2,500 for the Healthcare FSA and $5,000 for the Dependant Care FSA. All employees who are statused as full-time or part-time are eligible.
Time Off Benefits
FlexTime:This benefit is designed to give you as much flexibility as possible when you need paid time off. FlexTime may be used for vacation, holidays, personal time or the occasional sick day. All employees who are statused as full-time or part-time who are scheduled to work at least eight hours a week are eligible.
Other Time Off Benefits: Norton Healthcare also provides time off for jury duty, family/medical leave, bereavement, military leave and personal leave.
Norton Healthcare offers competitive retirement benefits designed to provide income and security after retirement.
403(b) and 401k) Retirement Savings Plans: These plans are funded by contributions deducted from your pre-tax pay, with funds invested in a variety of well-known mutual funds. All employees are eligible, regardless of status. Norton Healthcare provides an employer match to employee contributions each year of 100% of an employee’s contribution up to 4% of eligible compensation.
Employee Assistance Program
With the Norton Healthcare Wayne Corp EAP, you receive up to six free counseling sessions each year for you and each eligible family member. Referral assistance also is available. All employees are eligible regardless of status.
College Savings Plan (529)
The Norton 529 College Savings Plan is a tax-free program designed to help you save for either your own college education or for your children or eligible relatives. Contributions are made on an after-tax basis, and the funds can be used at any accredited college, university or other post-secondary institution in the U.S. , as well as many other countries. All employees are eligible, regardless of status.
Norton Healthcare offers full-time and part-time employees the opportunity to enroll in the following voluntary benefits plans:

Eligible employees may enroll in these benefits at anytime with the exception of the legal plan, which is available during the voluntary benefits open enrollment period.
