Tickets can be purchased at the door and are $3 for children 12 and under/seniors 65+ and $5 for adults.

Dickens Family Night features traditional costumed characters and carolers in a home-town holiday setting the evening of Nov. 15 from 6 to 9 p.m. Separate tickets are available for Dickens Family Night and are $5 for children, $8 for adults, or $25 for families of four or more. Ticket prices include several childrens activities and a fireworks show that will conclude the evening. Visitors to the Festival of Trees & Lights can stroll among hundreds of beautifully adorned trees and wreaths decorated by local artists and designers from area companies and interior design firms. All are available for purchase to raise funds for the Wendy L. Novak Diabetes Care Center at Kosair Children's Hospital.

The Lift a Life Foundation, funded by David and Wendy Novak, will establish the Wendy L. Novak Diabetes Care Center. This state-of-the-art comprehensive diabetes care center will offer education and treatment of Type I diabetes, previously known as juvenile diabetes. More than 1,200 children are currently being treated for Type I diabetes by Kosair Children’s Hospital and the University of Louisville Pediatric Endocrinology team. Approximately 150 more children are diagnosed each year, of whom nearly 50 percent require hospitalization in the “Just for Kids” Critical Care Center.

In addition to sales of decorated trees, wreaths and handcrafted holiday items, the festival will feature a model train display, a Sweet Shop and a Gift Shop. Children’s activities will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, and Sunday, Nov. 17, and will include building gingerbread houses, pictures with Santa, cookie decorating and ornament making. On these days, boy and girl scouts attending in uniform will receive a free event patch.

At the festival, final raffle tickets will be available for the Kosair Children's Hospital home and BMW raffle with a grand prize of a home in Norton Commons valued at approximately $350,000 and first prize of a 2014 Sam Swope BMW 3 Series convertible and $10,000.
