Preparation for Dialysis

There usually is minimal preparation needed before your procedure. Some patients may be asked to limit food or drink intake for a period of time before the procedure and/or make adjustments in their medications. Your dialysis staff or a staff member at the hospital will be able to help you with specific instructions.
