Norton Audubon Vascular Access Center
Because our center is dedicated only to end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients, we understand the problems associated with scheduling appointments and procedure room availability when patients have an access complication. With one call to the center, staff can schedule a vascular access intervention that day or, for an elective procedure, usually within 24 hours, meaning no more multiple calls to arrange a procedure.
Patients are seen in a timely manner upon arrival and are typically in and out within a few hours. Dialysis can be arranged the same day, following the access intervention. Coordinated efforts with the patient's dialysis facility result in superb overall care and an end to delays in dialysis treatment. Patient reports are forwarded to the patient's dialysis facility within 24 hours of the procedure.
