Old Brownsboro Crossing
Making a Difference for Eastern Jefferson County
In the heart of Louisville's growing east end community, Norton Healthcare's medical development at Old Brownsboro Crossing will serve patients whose nearest medical facilities historically have been those in the Kentucky communities of LaGrange (13 miles), St. Matthews (11 miles) and downtown Louisville (13 miles).
Located just east of the intersection of the Gene Snyder Freeway and KY-22, Phase I of the new development includes a three-story, 86,000 square-foot medical building, which houses primary and specialty care physicians, just steps away from on-site diagnostic services in the first-floor Norton Diagnostics center. The facility also includes a Norton Immediate Care Center.
Future expansion will include a 127-bed acute care hospital with a range of inpatient, outpatient and emergency department services. The hospital will be built in two phases, and will include intensive care, surgery, cardiac catheterization, diagnostic imaging (MRI, CT, ultrasound and nuclear medicine), laboratory, pharmacy, endoscopy and emergency services.
