Dr. Charles H. Crawford III is an honor graduate of the University of Kentucky where he received a B.S. in Biology. He then received his medical degree and completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at the University of Louisville School of Medicine where he graduated with honors and in the top percent of his class. From there, Dr. Crawford completed his spine fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where he received extensive training in complex adult and pediatric spine surgery.
In March 2013, Dr. Crawford was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS). He is also a member of the North American Spine Society, Scoliosis Research Society, Kentucky Orthopedic Surgeons, and American Medical Association.
Dr. Crawford has published and presented in the fields of orthpedics, neuroscience and spinal surgery. His clinical areas of interest are Adult and Pediatric Spinal Surgery, Deformity, Scoliosis, Complex Spinal Reconstruction and Degenerative Conditions of Lumbar and Cervical Spine.
