Practice Location:	2 locations (1 in Peewee Valley and 1 in Middletown)
Practice Style:	Traditional (Inpatient and Outpatient practice)
Number of Current Physicians:	Recruiting for 3 full-time Internal Medicine physicians
Physician Specialty:	Internal medicine
Reason for recruiting:	Acquiring a new practice with an existing patient poputlation.  High volumes that will continue to increase in the future.
Years of exisitence:	Over 20 years of exisistance
Practice Ancillary Services:	Not at the present time but will have ancillary services is the future.

Average Number of Patients:	Office sees 17,000 paitents annually.
Call Schedule:	The call is covered by the ICC's until 9pm at night the remaing hours of call will be split amongst providers.
Any other Details:	Full-time status requires a minimum of 4 days worked per week.  Will entertain the idea of part-time work as well.
Requirements for Position:	Internal Medicine, board certified or board eligilbe, will take residents, graduate of a certified IM program, KY license is required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Diagnoses and treats a variety of diseases and injuries. Examines patients, orders, or executes various analysis and diagnostic images. Prescribes treatments or drugs. Oversees maintenance of case histories and other medical records. Conforms to all applicable laws and regulations, and the values of Norton Healthcare.

Minimum Education

Graduate of an accredited medical school.

Minimum Certification/Licensure

Current, valid and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or Indiana (where applicable); unlimited Drug

Enforcement Administrative Registration; Board certified or eligible in field of practice.

Minimum Work Experience

2 - 3 years experience preferred.

Minimum Skills

Excellent analytical and communication skills.
