Colorectal Cancer Risk Assessment

coloncancerriskassessment.jpg

Roughly 4 out of 10 people over the age of 50 have pre-cancerous polyps (tissue growths) in their colon or rectum. Most polyps never become cancer. However, 5% to 10% do become cancerous if not removed.

The good news is that colorectal cancer is preventable. Finding and removing polyps early can stop them from becoming cancer in the first place. This assessment will estimate your chances of developing colorectal cancer risk and present general screening recommendations for your situation.

Discuss the recommendations and risk estimates of this wellness assessment with your health care provider.
