Sharon Conway, MSN, R.N.
Sharon Conway, MSN, R.N., is director of Patient Care Operations with the Norton Healthcare Institute for Nursing. She has been with Norton Healthcare for 13 years, including positions at Norton Audubon Hospital and within the Norton Healthcare system.

Conway has held numerous positions during her nursing career, from staff nurse to chief nursing officer, as well as the offices of assistant nurse manager, clinical nurse specialist, administrative nurse clinician (combined CNS and nurse manager) and director of patient care services. Conway has applied her management and leadership skills at University Hospitals of Cleveland, the VA Medical Center in Washington, D.C., and hospitals in Louisville, Ky. Faculty appointments include Case Western Reserve University and Spalding University.

Conway has presented on various topics related to critical care and is currently overseeing the implementation of nurse-sensitive, unit nursing dashboards as well as a patient care associate orientation program for the Norton Healthcare system. Upcoming projects include developing a competency model for Norton Healthcare and exploring new care delivery models.

Conway completed her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing at the College of Mount St. Joseph in Cincinnati and her Master of Science degree in nursing at Catholic University in Washington, D.C.
