Vincent S. DeGeare, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Chicago. Dr. DeGeare completed his internal medicine residency at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio and a fellowship in cardiology at Brooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He also completed a fellowship in interventional cardiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Mich.
Dr. DeGeare is assistant clinical professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Physicians and the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. DeGeare has special interests in cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiology, peripheral intervention and structural/valvular heart disease. Dr. DeGeare’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the area of cardiovascular medicine.
