Organization for food and nutritional professionals, formerly the American Dietetic Association. This web site provides professional information for health care professionals, as well as healthy eating information for consumers.

Anorexia Nervosa and Related Eating Disorders, Inc.   
Nonprofit organization that provides information about anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and other less-well-known food and weight disorders.

Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA) 
BEDA provides educational information and resources for those who have a binge eating disorder or family members and friends of someone suffering from a binge eating disorder Additionally, BEDA provides resources for treatment providers.

Eating Disorders Coalition 
Advocacy group that is dedicated to the the federal recognition of eating disorders as a public health priority.

Eating Disorders Information Network (EDIN) 
EDIN is dedicated to the prevention of all types of disordered eating and the promotion of positive body-esteem through education, outreach and action.

Provides a comprehensive database of eating disorder professionals. Additionally, web site also provides a collection of articles on eating disorders.

F.E.A.S.T. (Families Empowered and Supporting Treatment for Eating Disorders)
F.E.A.S.T. is a worldwide organization that focuses on parents and caregivers of eating disorder patients. Online services provide information and support for families, a treatment provider list, and a live support forum for caregivers.

Finding Balance   
Christian, non-profit organization dedicated to providing practical resources to help people live healthier, more balanced lives, free from eating and body image issues.

Girls Health

Healthy Minds   
Sponsored by the American Psychiatric Association, this web site provides educational information on health and mental wellness topics. 

Helping Other People Eat, Inc. (H.O.P.E.) 
Nonprofit organization focused on the prevention and awareness of eating disorders. Provides education for all age groups on the warning signs, symptoms and side effects that accompany eating disorders and body image issues. 

International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals 
Professional association dedicated to providing certification and education to professionals treating eating disorders with the goal of promoting effective treatment.

Kids Health 
Provides information about health, behavior, and development from before birth through the teen years.  Also provides families advice and perspectives on a wide range of physical, emotional, and behavioral issues that affect children and teens. Site sponsored by The Nemours Foundation.

Kirsten Haglund Foundation  
Created by Miss America 2008, the Kirsten Haglund Foundation raises awareness of eating disorders and provides resources and scholarships for those seeking treatment

Kristen Watt Foundation for Eating Disorder Awareness 
Foundation dedicated to helping youth develop positive self-images, recognize the signs and symptoms of eating disorders, and know what to do if they find themselves or someone they care about faced with this problem. Web site provides educational information and resources for both teens and adults.

Manna Fund, Inc. 
Manna Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing funds for residential and inpatient eating disorder treatment for individuals lacking insurance coverage or for those with inadequate insurance coverage.

National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA) 
NEDA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals and families affected by eating disorders. Web site provides health information/resources, program/events calendar and more. Additionally, NEDA provides advocacy and reform, a telephone helpline and a navigator program.

National Association of Anorexia Nervosa and Associated Disorders, Inc
Not-profit organization dedicated to the prevention of eating disorders. Web site provides health information and resources for patients, families and health professionals.

National Institute of Mental Health 
Organization dedicated to the understanding and treatment of mental illnesses through basic and clinical research, paving the way for prevention, recovery, and cure. Web site provides educational and resource information.  

NORMAL 
Nonprofit organization that educates about eating disorders, self-esteem and body image through arts and mindfulness programs (films, curricula and live events). Programs are provided in communities, schools and universities and address topics such as eating disorders, nutrition, mental health, self-esteem and body image.

Something Fishy 
Something Fishy is dedicated to raising awareness of eating disorders and providing information and resources for individuals with eating disorders and their loved ones. The Alliance for Eating Disorders Awareness

The Body Positive 
The Body Positive implements educational programs about weight, body image, and identity. Consulting and educational workshops are designed for schools, mental health professionals, women’s groups, parents groups and businesses. The Elisa Project  
Foundation dedicated to the prevention and effective treatment of eating disorders through support, awareness, education, and advocacy. Provides health information, resources and community programs.

Non-profit organization that seeks to make eating disorder treatment options more accessible and effective by supporting and conducting research, providing education and support programs.
