Hospitalists
While you are in the hospital, you may be cared for by a hospitalist. Hospitalists are part of the team of nurses, medical professionals and specialists who care for hospitalized patients. Hospitalist are on call 24/7 and see patients daily. They review each patient’s medical records and health history, so they have all the important information the primary care physician has.
