Kidney cancer treatment and recovery can be difficult for patients and their families. For kidney cancer survivors, as well as those who are still on the road to recovery, Norton Cancer Institute offers a number of support programs and resources to help meet your emotional, physical and spiritual needs.
The Norton Cancer Institute Resource Centers offer patients with kidney cancer and their families access to a wide range of support services. The center houses a library of educational resources about prevention and detection, treatment options and recovery. Specially trained oncology nurses are available to provide one-on-one educational counseling for patients and family members.
The center also offers the following free services for cancer patients and their families:
- Educational seminars
- Clinical-trial searches
- Nutritional counseling
- Emotional/behavioral counseling
- Wigs, prostheses and turbans
- Massage therapy
- Art therapy
- Referrals to community resources
