Kids’ injuries and illnesses don’t run on schedules – sometimes you need a doctor after hours or on the weekend. That’s when Kids Express East at Norton Suburban Hospital can help.
Staffed by specialists in pediatric medicine, Kids Express East offers care for minor emergencies in an emergency room specifically designed to help children and their parents feel at ease. In general, you should consider visiting Kids Express East if your child:
- Shows signs of dehydration
- Is having difficulty breathing
- Is experiencing severe diarrhea, continuous abdominal pain or high fever
- Has persistent vomiting or severe headache, sore throat or pain
- Has a bad sprain or broken bone
Doctors at Kids Express East will send your pediatrician a detailed report of your child’s visit and give you specific instructions for follow-up care.
Kids Express East is affiliated with Kosair Children’s Hospital – Kentucky’s only free-standing, full-service tertiary care facility dedicated exclusively to care for kids.
