Michael Springer, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist and electrophysiologist who specializes in cardiology and electrophysiology. Dr. Springer earned his medical degree from St. Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri. He then completed his internal medicine degree at The Memorial Hospital in Worchester Massachusetts. Dr. Springer completed his fellowship in cardiology at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California. He completed his fellowship in electrophysiology at the University of California in San Francisco California.
Dr. Springer is a member of the American College of Cardiology, Kentucky Medical Association, Greater Louisville Medical Society and the Heart Rhythm Society. In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. Springer has special interests in electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation and pacemaker/AICD: Automatic Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator and lead extraction. He also completed the first radiofrequency ablation in the state of Kentucky. Dr. Springer’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the area of cardiovascular medicine.
Away from the office, Dr. Springer enjoys listening to music and sailing.
