 David A. Sun, M.D., Ph.D., neurosurgeon, is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond. He completed a neurosurgical residency and a functional neurosurgery fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
Dr. Sun maintains a special interest in epilepsy surgery and will work closely with Dr. Zakaria to develop a comprehensive epilepsy program at Norton Healthcare. Additionally, he will expand brain tumor services and work with Dr. Shanks to support the institute's deep brain stimulation program.
