Robert A. Schwartz, M.D., is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and electrophysiology. Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, where he also completed his internal medicine residency, as well as fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology.
Dr. Schwartz is assistant clinical professor at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. In addition to clinical cardiology, Dr. Schwartz has special interests in electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation, pacemaker/implantable cardiac defibrillator and lead extraction. Dr. Schwartz’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate, patient-centered care in the area of cardiovascular medicine.
Away from the office, Dr. Schwartz enjoys spending time with his family.
