American Girl® evening at Borders Fourth Street Live! features American Girl® -themed activities at from 5 to 7 p.m. Learn more about the Today’s Girl contest and pick up an “Every Story Makes You a Star” Summer Read-a-Thon packet. The evening will include special guest appearances by the 2008 Derby Princesses and Michala Riggle and drawings for the American Girl Fashion Show® Experience.

American Girl Fashion Show® Kick-Off at Borders Fourth Street Live! Enjoy an evening of American Girl® -themed activities at Borders Fourth Street Live! from 5 to 7 p.m. Winners from the Today’s Girl contest and the “Every Story Makes You a Star” Summer Read-a-Thon will be announced. The evening will include special guest appearances and drawings for the American Girl Fashion Show® Experience. Receive a 15 percent discount on purchases at Borders, with 15 percent of each sale benefiting the Children’s Hospital Foundation. The event will kick-off American Girl Fashion Show ticket sales. |

All American Girl® fans are invited to join Addy, Felicity, Kirstin, Molly, Samantha and the rest of their favorite American Girls at the American Girl Fashion Show® and tea party benefiting the Kosair Children’s Hospital neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Snow Ball, one of Louisville's most fashionable holiday parties, to benefit pediatric surgery services at Kosair Children's Hospital, specifically the Hirikati Nagaraj, M.D,. endowed chair in pediatric surgery. Held for the first time at the exquisite Marriott Downtown, the magnificent ball is surrounded on all sides with the sparkle of holiday lights. A gourmet meal precedes dancing to music by a fabulous band and a silent auction.

Holiday Dazzle, presented by Today's Woman , is part of the 2008 Festival of Trees & Lights to benefit the Kosair Children’s Hospital neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). The event will provide tips for hostingthe perfect holiday cocktail party with the best hors d’oeuvres, wine selections and drink recipes. Ladies also can get a jump on their holiday shopping by visiting one of the jewelry, housewares or fine gifts vendors. |
