The Norton Healthcare Foundation raises funds to support adult health care at  Norton Hospital, Norton Audubon Hospital, and  Norton Suburban  Hospital, as well as the planned Norton Brownsboro Hospital.

Ryder Cup ticket winner announced

The drawing for Ryder Cup tickets was held June 9, 2008 at the Norton Healthcare Foundation Golf Classic. The winner, Swain Beard of BB&T Insurance, and will enjoy admission for two to the Ryder Cup for all six days, Sept. 16 to 21, a copy of the official Ryder Cup Journal and off-site parking with shuttle service to Valhalla. The $10,000 raised from the raffle will benefit the adult services at Norton Healthcare through the Norton Healthcare Foundation.

 

Republic Bank team wins Golf Classic

Players on the Republic Bank team were the winners of the Norton Healthcare Foundation Golf Classic, presented by Faulkner Healthcare Real Estate. The team, made up of Steve DeWeese and John Mason of Republic Bank, Mark Crabtree from the University of Louisville and David Vogt of Vogt Supply Co. The fundraiser for adult services at Norton Healthcare raised $200,000. Orthopaedic fund to be established in honor of Wayne Kotcamp, M.D.

Efforts are underway to raise $1.5 million to establish the Orthopaedic Clinical Care, Education and Research Fund. This fund will support continued training, education and research activities for orthopaedic physicians and residents at Norton Hospital. The fund was established through the Norton Healthcare Foundation by colleagues in honor of Wayne Kotcamp, M.D., who played a major role in the advancement of orthopaedic surgery in the community and retired in 2000. Book fairs to benefit Healthcare Pavilion Auxiliary

Visit one of the Imagine Nation Books Ltd. book fairs at the Norton Healthcare Pavilion, and 20 percent of your purchase will go to the Norton Healthcare Foundation in support of the Healthcare Pavilion Auxiliary.
