Want to Help?

Norton Audubon Hospital needs reliable, self-motivated individuals who are willing to give a few hours of their time each week to make a positive contribution to the community. There are volunteer opportunities in both patient and non-patient areas. I will be glad to discuss possible placements with you. No special skills are required. We will provide all the training you need.

Volunteers are needed in the following areas:

  • Music library – Take referrals, answer phones, deliver music.
  • Medical staff library – Filing and helping with special projects.
  • Patient access – Escorting patients to their destinations.
  • Emergency room – Interacting with patient family members.

If you would like to be considered for the volunteer program at Norton Audubon Hospital simply complete and return the volunteer application. You will be contacted within a week to arrange an interview. All volunteers must attend an orientation and complete a 2-step TB skin test. Criminal background checks are required on all volunteer applicants 18 years of age and over.

Thank you for your interest in volunteer service. I look forward to meeting you.
