Deborah A. Ballard, M.D., Internal Medicine
Dr. Ballard received her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association and the Board of Governors for the Greater Louisville Medical Society. Dr. Ballard joined Louisville Oncology in 2008.

Sandra E. Brooks, M.D., Gynecologic Oncologist
Associate Vice President, Norton Cancer Institute
Dr. Brooks received her Bachelor of Science and medical degree in a six-year combined program at Howard University. She then completed her OB/GYN residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Harvard University ’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Brooks also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Johns Hopkins University. She is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and gynecologic oncology. Dr. Brooks specializes in cancerous and precancerous conditions of the female reproductive tract and is the medical director of the cancer prevention and early detection program. Dr. Brooks joined Louisville Oncology in 2006.

Peter J. Buecker, M.D., Orthopaedic Oncologist
Dr. Buecker received his medical degree from the University of Louisville School of Medicine and completed his fellowship in orthopaedic oncology with Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Surgery and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Ma. Dr. Buecker's areas of specialty include benign and cancerous tumors of the arms, legs and pelvis. Dr. Buecker joined Louisville Oncology in 2005.

Dr. Choudry earned his medical degree at Saint George’s University School of Medicine in Saint George, Grenada . He served as an internist and hospitalist at both Norton Audubon Hospital and Norton Suburban Hospital. Dr. Choudry completed his oncology fellowship at the Brown Cancer Center in Louisville, Ky. Dr. Choudry joined Louisville Oncology in 2005.

Mark S. Cornett, M.D., Radiation Oncologist
Dr. Cornett was born in Virginia and received his medical training at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Cornett completed his residency at the University of Louisville Department of Radiation Oncology and served on the faculty there for four years. He is board certified in radiation oncology. Dr. Cornett joined Louisville Oncology in 2000.

Dr. Doering was born and raised in Texas. He attended medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine where he graduated cum laude. He continued his education at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center where he completed his internship and residency followed by a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Doering came to Louisville in 1991. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology with a subspecialty in gynecologic oncology. Dr. Doering joined Louisville Oncology in 1999.

Jeffrey M. Goldberg, M.D., Gynecologic Oncologist
Dr. Goldberg, a native of Louisville, received his medical degree from Northwestern University. After finishing his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Wisconsin, he completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, Ny. Dr. Goldberg spent six years on the faculty of the University of Illinois at Chicago, serving as Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology, Director of Undergraduate Medical Education for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Co-Director of the UIC Oncology Care Center. He is board certified in gynecologic oncology. Dr. Goldberg joined Louisville Oncology in 2002.

Dr. Hahl earned his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma. He served as Chief Resident of radiation oncology at the University of Louisville and became board certified in radiation oncology in 2002. After practicing in southern Indiana for several years, Dr. Hahl joined Louisville Oncology in June 2005.

Dr. Hadley was born and raised in New York. He attended medical school at Columbia University and completed his residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fl. Following his fellowship, Dr. Hadley worked at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Md. and the Walter Reid Army Institute of Research in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hadley came to Louisville in 1987. He is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty of Hematology. Dr. Hadley treats both blood disorders and cancer.

Dr. Hamm is one of the four founders of Louisville Oncology. He was born and raised in Louisville. He received his medical degree at Vanderbilt University and completed his formal training in Louisville. Dr. Hamm is board certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in medical oncology. Dr. Hamm is the Medical Director of the Louisville Oncology Research Program. He is Chairman of the Norton Hospital Cancer Committee.

Corey P. Rothrock, M.D., Orthopaedic Oncologist
Dr. Rothrock received his medical degree from the University of Nebraska College of Medicine and completed his musculoskeletal oncology fellowship at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York. Dr. Rothrock specializes in the treatment of benign and cancerous tumors of the arms, legs and pelvis. These tumors include sarcomas, osteosarcomas and other malignancies of the musculoskeletal system. Dr. Rothrock joined Louisville Oncology in 2007.

Dr. Wagner received her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine in Edison, Nj. She completed a fellowship in medical oncology and hematology at the University of Louisville. She also completed a neuro-oncology fellowship at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University. Dr. Wagner joined Louisville Oncology in 2008.

Patrick Williams, M.D., Hematology and Oncology
Dr. Williams received his medical degree from the F. Edward Hébert School of Medicine at the Navy National Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He completed his fellowship in hematology and oncology in Texas at the Brooke Army Medical Center in Fort Sam Houston and Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio. Dr. Williams has been deployed in Operation Iraqi Freedom as a battalion surgeon and has served as chief of hematology and oncology at Womack Army Medical Center in Fort Bragg, Nc. Dr. Williams joined Louisville Oncology in 2007.

She has been in private practice in Southern Indiana since 1996 and has a primary interest in cancer survivorship care and community education. Dr. Williams joined Louisville Oncology in 2006.
