Skin Cancer Ongoing Care

Skin cancer can affect people of all ages. There is often a strong family history of the disease – although treatable – may can be deadly. The Norton Cancer Prevention and Resource Center offers support services that address the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of cancer patients and their loved ones.

The center houses a library of educational resources about prevention and detection, treatment options and recovery.  Specially trained oncology nurses are available to provide one-on-one educational counseling for patients and family members.

The center also offers the following free services for cancer patients and their families:

  • Educational seminars
  • Clinical-trial searches
  • Nutritional counseling
  • Emotional/behavioral counseling
  • Free screenings
  • Wigs, prostheses and turbans
  • Massage therapy
  • Art therapy
  • Referrals to community resources
