Norton Cancer Institute’s Neuro-Oncology Program, the first of its kind in the region, is led by Stephanie Wagner, M.D., who recently completed a yearlong fellowship at the Duke University Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center.

Through a unique collaboration with Duke University, Norton Cancer Institute will exclusively offer patients access to the same advanced clinical trials currently available only at the Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center, a world renowned center of excellence for brain tumors.

Dr. Wagner completed a residency in internal medicine at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich., and a medical oncology/hematology fellowship at the University of Louisville, where she earned the distinction of chief fellow. Dr. Wagner is one of only a handful of medical oncologists formally trained in neuro-oncology in the nation and, currently, the only one in Kentucky.
