Norton Ortho Trauma Care

Norton Ortho Trauma Care was designed to provide injured patients access to physicians fellowship-trained in orthopaedic trauma. Norton Ortho Trauma Care was created in 2006 to meet patient demand for expert orthopaedic consultation coinciding primarily with emergency department visits.

Dr. Alan S. Oster directs the Ortho Trauma Care program. Dr. Oster maintains 14 days of 24-hour call each month and provides orthopaedic consultation at all adult Norton Healthcare hospitals, including Norton Hospital, Norton Audubon Hospital and Norton Suburban Hospital.  While Dr. Oster’s expertise is particularly beneficial to patients with traumatic orthopaedic injuries, he also treats general orthopaedic injuries as necessary while on call.

Dr. Oster and the staff at Norton Ortho Trauma Care are available Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. The office is located on the campus of Norton Audubon Hospital in Audubon Medical Plaza East,  Three Audubon Plaza Drive, Suite 220. To schedule an appointment, call (502) 636-9226.
