Driving and Parking Directions

Recently, Norton Suburban Hospital improved the registration process for our expectant patients. Now all patients who are in labor or are reporting for a scheduled induction or Cesarean delivery, should go directly to our Labor and Delivery (Birthing Center) for registration. Our Birthing Center is located on the second floor of Norton Women’s Pavilion (Medical Plaza III), 4121 Dutchmans Lane , Louisville , KY 40207 .

Our new Birthing Center Registration is designed to simplify the process for you and to get you to our triage care team quicker.

Driving Directions to Norton Suburban Hospital Campus

Suggested Route from I-64, I-71 or I-65

• From I-64 East or West or I-71 North or South, take Watterson Expressway I-264 West
• From I-65 South or North, take Watterson Expressway I-264 East
• Take the Breckenridge Street North Exit
• From both I-264 East and West, merge into the far right hand lane of Breckenridge Lane
• Take a right on Dutchmans Lane
• Go through two street lights, the Norton Suburban Hospital Campus is located on the left hand side of Dutchmans Lane

Parking Tips for Expectant Parents

Laboring Patients - Reserved parking spaces near the main entrance to Medical Plaza III

• Take the second left (Entrance B) at the streetlight (Dutchmans and Dupont)
• Near the Emergency Department, look for the pink signs with a stork. These spaces are reserved for laboring patients only. Please respect the two hour time limit for the convenience of our other expectant parents.
• From the main lobby of Norton Suburban Medical Plaza III take the gold elevators to the second floor.

Scheduled induction or Cesarean Patient - East Parking Garage

• Take the fourth left (Entrance D)
• Drive straight into the East Parking Garage
• After parking, take the elevators to the 1^st floor for access to Norton Suburban Medical Plaza III. Follow the signs to the main lobby and take the gold elevators to the second floor.
