Go Confidently: A Conversation With Lizzie Velasquez

ADAM_Ear_10049.jpg

Join us as Lizzie Velasquez, 25-year-old motivational speaker, anti-bullying activist and author shares her life experiences living with a rare syndrome that prevents her from gaining weight. Lizzie has overcome enormous burdens and adversity, from being bullied for looking different to her physical and emotional journey to choosing happiness.

Lizzie’s 2013 “How Do You Define Yourself?” talk has garnered more than 9 million views across the Web, and she has been featured on several TV talk shows as well as in national and international media. She is the executive producer of a documentary based on her life, “A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story,” premiering at South by Southwest in March and is working with Congress to pass the first federal anti-bullying bill.
