Having lung cancer can be difficult for patients as well as their families. The Norton Cancer Prevention and Resource Centers offers a variety of support services that address the emotional, physical and spiritual needs of cancer patients and their loved ones.
The center houses a library of educational resources about prevention and detection, treatment options and recovery. Specially trained oncology nurses are available to provide one-on-one educational counseling for patients and family members.
The center also offers the following free services for cancer patients and their families:
- Educational seminars
- Clinical-trial searches
- Nutritional counseling
- Emotional/behavioral counseling
- Wigs, prostheses and turbans
- Massage therapy
- Art therapy
- Referrals to community resources
