Safe Sitters- Brownsboro Hospital

Safe Sitter® is a comprehensive babysitting training program for young adolescents (ages 11 to 14). This interactive program, created by a pediatrician, teaches graduates how to be safe & confident babysitters. Attendees learn how to prevent & handle emergencies, age appropriate activities, tips on safety, first-aid care, infant & child choking, babysitting business skills & more. Upon completion of the course, students take a test on the key concepts, life & safety skills learned, when passed they receive a completion card. Parents & guests are encouraged to attend the graduation ceremony. With over 850 teaching sites, the Safe Sitter program is committed to their vision of Better Sitters Today: Better Parents Tomorrow. ® $40 fee includes backpack, materials, pizza lunch & snacks.
