Rebekah R. Gossom, M.S,. CCC
Rebekah Gossom received her master’s degree in speech-language pathology in 2002 from the University of Louisville. She works primarily with infants and children at Norton Suburban Hospital and Kosair Children’s Hospital. She specializes in infant feeding and swallowing and the development of appropriate oral-motor/feeding skills in newborns and infants. She also has an interest in resonance disorders. She currently is working with local surgeons and otolaryngologists to provide evaluations and treatment for velopharyngeal incompetence/insufficiency (VPI), which affects many children who have had cleft palate. She is a member of the Kentucky Speech-Language and Hearing Association and the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association.
