Before Your Telehealth Appointment

Have your insurance information and a credit card ready if you have a copay. Copays for telehealth appointments are usually the same as or similar to the copay for an in-office visit.

Step 1

Sign in to your MyNortonChart account through your computer’s internet browser at NortonHealthcare.com/MyNortonChart. If the visit is for someone whose account you have proxy access to, make sure you select their profile within your account instead of your own.

Step 2

Select “Visits,” then select the upcoming appointment and complete eCheck-in.

Step 3

When you’ve completed the eCheck-in process, you will see a thank-you message.

Accessing Your Telehealth Appointment

For a seamless visit, find a well-lit area and ensure you have a strong signal. Much like you would for an in-person visit, create a list of questions or concerns you may want to share with your provider.

Step 1

Up to 10 minutes prior to your appointment, open your web browser and go to NortonHealthcare.com/MyNortonChart and sign in to your account. Once you are signed in, select “Visits.” If the visit is for someone whose account you have proxy access to, make sure you are in their profile instead of your own.

Step 2

Select “Begin Video Visit” to connect to your provider.

Step 3

A new tab will open. It will launch a pop-up for Zoom. If you do not get a pop-up upon clicking “Begin Video Visit,” check your web browser’s pop-up settings and allow Zoom to show pop-ups. You do not need to log in to Zoom or have a Zoom account.

Step 4

You will be placed in the provider’s virtual waiting room until the provider joins the visit. When your provider connects, you will see a video preview screen and be prompted to connect audio. Select “Join with Computer Audio.”

Step 5

Your screen will display control buttons for sound, muting and stopping video. Ensure that your microphone is unmuted and video has started. The provider will end the visit for you.
