Preparation for Dialysis
There usually is minimal preparation needed before dialysis. You may be asked to limit food or drinks for a period of time before your appointment and/or make adjustments to when you take medication.
Your dialysis staff or a staff member from the hospital will give you specific instructions on how to prepare.
