Officers and FOP members in southern Indiana raise $3,000 to support Norton Children’s Hospital

FOP organizations to visit with patients, officers participating in No Shave November as a demonstration of support to children fighting illnesses.

Police officers with the Jeffersonville, Clarksville and Clark County Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) have raised $3,000 to donate to Norton Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Hospital Foundation. The officers are making the donation and delivering gifts to patients on Wednesday, Nov. 29.

The collective groups are participating in No Shave November, an effort to “grow cancer awareness and raise funds to support cancer prevention, research and education”. This is the third year for the donation. Five officers are expected to visit different units of the hospital on Wednesday.
