Join us as Lizzie Velasquez, 25-year-old motivational speaker, anti-bullying activist and author shares her life experiences living with a rare syndrome that prevents her from gaining weight. Lizzie has overcome enormous burdens and adversity, from being bullied for looking different to her physical and emotional journey to choosing happiness.

Lizzie’s 2013 “How Do You Define Yourself?” talk has garnered more than 9 million views across the Web, and she has been featured on several TV talk shows as well as in national and international media. She is the executive producer of a documentary based on her life, “A Brave Heart: The Lizzie Velasquez Story,” premiering at South by Southwest in March and is working with Congress to pass the first federal anti-bullying bill.

Melissa d’Arabian, star of the Food Network’s “Ten Dollar Dinners,” will share her inspiring story of overcoming the tragedy of her mother’s suicide as well as reveal expert meal tips, including how to stick to a budget, eat healthy at home and cope with picky eaters!

Celebrity chef, television host, best-selling author and mom of four Melissa d’Arabianis a go-to expert on affordable and healthy family home cooking. With an MBA from Georgetown University, Melissa enjoyed a successful career in corporate finance and strategy before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

Passionate about sharing her tried-and-true recipes and money-saving tactics, Melissa then competed on and won season five of “Food Network Star.” She soon became known for “Ten Dollar Dinners,” her popular Food Network show and New York Times best-selling cookbook. Today Melissa can be found serving as a regular judge on the hit Food Network primetime series “Guy’s Grocery Games,” writing the nationally syndicated weekly “Healthy Plate” column for The Associated Press and hosting acclaimed FoodNetwork.com series “The Picky Eaters Project.”

Melissa shares her diverse life experiences and wide-ranging expertise on topics including food and cooking, money-saving strategies, family and parenting, healthy lifestyle, business and leadership, faith and causes close to her heart, including suicide prevention and childhood hunger.
